The search for a rare book grew like a mycelial network into strange experiences.

After years of searching, I found one copy of “Symbolic Messages” in a library in Canada. It was written in the town where I was born, but I had no idea of its existence until I moved to Indiana. It purports to be a book of alien writing systems and received messages from UFO abductees. Immediately upon receiving it, the strange events began - with a UFO sighting. Every member of the household had a major event with the Other - something anomalous, unexplainable, or “supernatural” to a significant degree.
